Who is running the competition?

The Promoter is Treasury Wine Estates Australia Limited (ABN 78 145 321 320), Level 8, 161 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.

When will the competition start and end?

The competition starts at 9:00am EST on 01/11/2024 and ends at 9:00pm EST on 31/01/2025 (the Competition Period).

Who can enter?

Only Australian residents (excluding NT) aged 18 or over can enter.

Who can't enter?

Directors, officers, management and employees of:

  1. the Promoter; or
  2. the agencies or companies or participating venue(s)/outlet(s) associated with this competition,

and their immediate families, can't enter.

Where will the competition run?

The competition will run in participating liquor outlets (Excluding Dan Murphys, BWS, Liquorland, Vintage Cellars, First Choice, Bottlemart, SipNSave, Harry Brown and Thirsty Camel (WA only)) within Australia (Excluding NT) (Participating Venue).

Do I need to buy anything to enter?

Yes. During the Competition Period, you need to spend $50 or more on participating brands (listed below) in one transaction at a Participating Venue (Qualifying Purchase). Participating brands are; Squealing Pig, Pepperjack, Wynns, Wolf Blass, 19 Crimes, Seppelt, Yellowglen, Georg Jensen 750ml.

Proof of Purchase: The entrant must retain proof of purchase. The proof of purchase required is an original receipt for the qualifying purchase.

Entry instructions

  1. After you have made a Qualifying Purchase, you must, during the Competition Period, visit https://www.tpbpromo.com/celebrate follow the prompts to the Promotion entry page; and fully complete and submit the online entry form with your personal details (first name, last name, date of birth, email address, mobile number and state/territory of residence) and upload a scanned copy or photo of the receipt for the qualifying purchase (which shows the wine product purchased and the Participating Venue of purchase).
  2. Proof of Purchase: The entrant must retain proof of purchase even after submitting an entry. The proof of purchase required is an original receipt for the qualifying purchase.

How many winners will there be and how will they be chosen?

There will be 1 winner determined in respect of this competition.

The draw will be held at 11:00am (EST) on 3rd February 2025 at 87 Gladstone Street, South Melbourne, 3205.

The first valid entry drawn randomly will win a prize.

The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order, in case a winning entry/entrant is deemed invalid, or a prize is unclaimed (Reserve Entrants).

What can I win?

There are in total 1 prize available. Delivery is included in the total prize value. The Prize will be delivered in 1 delivery within 3 months of the winner claiming the prize.

For all states excluding NSW & NT:

The prize is a ‘years' worth’ of wine. A ‘years worth’ is determined to be 1 case of 6 x 750ml bottles per month for 12 months* valued at $1,590 inclusive of GST. (The prize will be delivered in 1 delivery)

The wines are as below; based on RRP as per Cellardoor.co pricing as at 24/05/2024. This is the prize for all states excluding NSW & NT

If a product below is unavailable at the time, a price equivalent substitute will be chosen in its place.

The prize will be the below 4 cases (equalling a total of 18 litres due to regulations) and will also be awarded a once off Digital Vault Pays-enabled Prepaid Mastercard® to the value of $1,000.

Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Vault Pays-enabled Prepaid Mastercard are not included. The Vault Pays-enabled Prepaid Mastercard must be activated within 2 months of issue and is valid for 12 months after activation. At expiry of the Vault Pays-enabled Mastercard any unused balance will be forfeited. We will not give you notice prior to expiry. Card expiry and balance can be found on your mobile device in your digital wallet. The Vault Pays-enabled Prepaid Mastercard is issued by EML Payment Solutions Limited (ABN 30 131 436 532) AFSL 404131 pursuant to license by Mastercard. Upon verification, the prize will be sent to the winners by SMS (to the mobile phone number specified on the winner's claim form). Winners then need to activate the card using the Vault app – activation code will be provided in SMS. Once activated, the card can be added to the winner's phone's digital wallet (e.g. Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay) and can be used for purchasing goods and services where the card is accepted for electronic transactions (excluding transactions at ATMs or over the counter at financial institutions). The card cannot be used as a credit card and cannot be linked to any deposit account.

The total prize pool is $1,600.00 and is inclusive of delivery and GST.

How many times can I enter?

You can enter twice per person, per day, provided that each entry is based on a separate Qualifying Purchase. Each entry must be submitted separately in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

How and when will the winner/s be informed?

If you are a winner, you will be informed by phone & email (based on the details provided in the entry form).

Note:

  • if the winner is in WA, QLD, NSW, ACT and VIC, the winner will be notified in writing on the 4th of February 2025 and name and state/territory of residence will be published at TPBpromo.com/celebrate on 6th February, 2025.
  • If the winner is in SA, the winner to be notified no later than 18th of February 2025, and their name and state/territory of residence will be published at TPBpromo.com/celebrate on 20th February 2025.
  • NSW Winner please refer above to Mastercard claim component in ‘What can I win?’

Must I keep anything to verify my entry?

You must keep the original itemised purchase receipt for all entries as proof of purchase. If you don't produce the proof of purchase for all entries when asked the Promoter may disqualify all of your entries and you will lose any right to a prize. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly identify the Venue/Outlet of purchase (which must be a participating Venue/Outlet), the product/s purchased (which must be a Qualifying Purchase), and the date of purchase (which must be during the Competition Period before you submitted your entry). If, in the Promoter's opinion, you have shared any proof of purchase with another person, your entries will be invalid and you will lose any right to a prize.

If I win, when must I claim my prize?

You must claim your prize by 9:00am (EST) on 31/5/2025 (Prize Claim Date).

What if I don't claim my prize on time?

If a prize has not been accepted or claimed by the Prize Claim Date or if, after making all reasonable attempts, the Promoter can't contact a/the drawn winner (or a/the drawn winner does not contact the Promoter) by the Prize Claim Date, the relevant entry will be discarded and the Promoter will re-award the relevant prize/s to Reserve Entrant/s and/or carry out an unclaimed prize draw at 11:00am (EST) on 5/06/2025 at the same location as the original draw to distribute the relevant prize/s (Unclaimed Prize Draw).

Any such winner(s) will be informed via phone or email (based on details provided in the entry form) within 2 business days of the Unclaimed Prize Draw and must claim their prize by 05/07/2025. Winners of the Unclaimed Prize Draw will also have their name and state/territory of residence published at TPBpromo.com/celebrate on 10/07/2025.

If a prize from an Unclaimed Prize Draw has not been accepted or claimed by 5/07/2025, after making all reasonable attempts, the Promoter can't contact a winner (or a winner does not contact the Promoter) by the prize claim date above, the relevant entry/ies will be discarded.

  1. These Terms and Conditions incorporate and must be read together with the details outlined in the table above. Information about prizes and how to enter forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By entering, you accept these Terms and Conditions.

Entry

  1. Your entry must be received during the Competition Period. Your entry is deemed to be received only when received by the Promoter. If you return a product comprising a Qualifying Purchase your entry may be deemed invalid (unless product is defective).
  2. The Promoter is not liable for any problems with communications networks. You are responsible for your own costs associated with entering. If you enter using automatically generated entries or multiple phone numbers or aliases you may be disqualified.

Prizes

  1. If you are a winner in VIC, TAS, QLD, ACT, WA or SA the prize will be delivered to you at your nominated Australian delivery address within the time period specified by the Promoter in one delivery (at no additional cost to you).
    If you are a winner in NSW:

General

  1. If you are a winner, you (and any companion/s) must take part in all publicity, photography and other promotional activity as the Promoter requires, without any compensation. You (and any companion/s) consent to the Promoter using your name/s and image/s in any promotional or advertising activity.
  2. If you or your entry are deemed by the Promoter to breach these Terms and Conditions, your entry (or at the Promoter's discretion, all of your entries) may be discarded. The Promoter may, at any time, require you to produce documentation to establish to the Promoter's satisfaction the validity of your entries (including documentation establishing your identity, age, place of residence and place of employment). Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not waive those rights.
  3. You must not:
    1. tamper with the entry process;
    2. engage in any conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition;
    3. act in a disruptive, annoying, threatening, abusive or harassing manner;
    4. do anything that may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related entities or of the agencies or companies associated with this competition;
    5. breach any law; or
    6. behave in a way that is otherwise inappropriate.
  4. The Promoter is not liable for entries, prize claims or correspondence that are misplaced, misdirected, delayed, lost, incomplete, illegible or incorrectly submitted.
  5. The Promoter's decision in connection with all aspects of this competition is final.
  6. Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged nor (except where cash is specified) redeemed for cash. Without limiting any other term of these Terms and Conditions, all prizes (and elements of prizes) must be taken as and when specified, or will be forfeited with no replacement. The prize values are correct as at the date of preparing these Terms and Conditions and include any applicable GST. The Promoter is not responsible for any change in prize value. You agree that if a prize (or element of a prize) is unavailable for any reason the Promoter may provide another item of equal or higher value.
  7. If this competition cannot run as planned for any reason beyond the Promoter's control, for example due to software, hardware or communications issues, unauthorised intervention, tampering, fraud or technical failure, the Promoter may end, change, suspend or cancel the competition or disqualify affected entries/entrants.
  8. The Promoter is not responsible for any tax implications arising from you winning a prize. You should seek independent financial advice. If for GST purposes this competition results in any supply being made for non-monetary consideration, you must follow the Australian Taxation Office's stated view that where the parties are at arm's length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
  9. Enjoy alcohol responsibly. Consider the safe drinking levels recommended in the National Health and Medical Research Council Australian Guidelines to Reduce Health Risks from Drinking Alcohol (https://www.nhmrc.gov.au/file/1641/download?token=1O3AafPu). Participation in this competition is subject to the/each Venue's/Outlet's liquor serving policy.

Liability

  1. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions restricts, excludes or modifies any consumer rights under any statute including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
  2. Subject to the previous paragraph, the Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this competition are not liable (including in negligence) for any loss (including indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury, illness or death suffered in connection with this competition or any prize, except for any liability which under statute cannot be excluded (in which case that liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law).
  3. Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this competition are not liable for any loss of, damage to or delay in delivery of prizes.
  4. The Promoter may communicate or advertise this competition using Facebook or Instagram. However, the competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram. You provide your information to the Promoter and not to Facebook or Instagram. You completely release Facebook and Instagram from any and all liability.

Collection and use of your personal information

  1. Your entry will be the Promoter's property. The information you provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this competition. If relevant, the information your companion/s provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of fulfilling the prize and otherwise administering this competition. The Promoter may collect your (or your companion/s', if relevant) personal information (including through its contractors or agents) or disclose your (or your companion/s', if relevant) personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this competition or communicating with you (or your companion/s, if relevant). If you have marked the “opt-in” box on the entry form, you consent to the Promoter keeping your personal information on its database to use for future marketing purposes, including contacting you by electronic messaging. The Promoter is bound by the Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. You (or your companions, if relevant) can request access to the personal information the Promoter holds about you by contacting the Promoter at the address stated in the Promoter section of these conditions. The Promoter's Privacy Policy, located at http://www.tweglobal.com/privacy-policy/, contains information about:
    1. how you (or your companion/s, if relevant) can seek access to the personal information the Promoter holds about you and seek the correction of such information;
    2. how you (or your companion/s, if relevant) can complain about a privacy breach and how the Promoter will deal with such a complaint; and
    3. whether the personal information the Promoter holds about you (or your companion/s, if relevant) will be provided to overseas companies, and if so, in which countries those companies are located.
